Our machine is custom built for drilling the holes in the styles. Take a look at the video to see our machine working.

We have made many upgrades to the original machine:

  1. Rack and pinion drive on the Y axis............no more belts to tension!
  2. Rack and pinion on the X axis
  3. Larger motor on the Z drive
  4. All motors are now fitted with plugs for easy replacement
  5. All limit switches have a new casing with plugs for easy replacement
  6. Isolator switch fitted in an easy to reach position
  7. Drill guard been fitted


We have also upgraded the speed with a 1800mm set of stiles and tilt rod taking 7mins 10 seconds, just enough time to cut the louvres whilst the machine is doing its job.
The max length of stile that the machine will take will be 2289mm.

Urban Shutter Data Base Upgrade

Full data base for Urban shutters including 50 & 100mm top and bottom rails in 63mm, 76mm and 89mm Louvres. as well as mid rail options. With over 12 million files this is supplied on external hard drive and is included with the package.

Our requirements

The CNC will be delivered and installed to your premises FOC within a 200 mile radius of CV7 9EP (if you are further away we can discuss a price). Training will be provided on the day (although it is super easy to use)  Thereafter we will of course provide full support via phone, zoom etc.
You will need to make sure there is enough space to sit the machine on (300cm X 60cm min) at a suitable work height which needs to be level.
You will need to provide a power source (240 volt socketsor extension lead)   

We would advise that you have a compressed air line to clean the drilling area and machine rails.

Controller

The controller is the "brains" of the system, it controls all of the motors and safety switches and travel speeds etc.
the controller does require software to drive it, this is included with full training done on the day.
